- Bora Bora Airport: BOB is on a motu, not in Faanui. Take Air Tahiti’s free Bora Bora Navette shuttle boat to Vaitape; allow roughly 15–20 minutes on the water, then arrange a hotel transfer, taxi or rental vehicle onward along the main-island road to Faanui. The boat is free; the onward leg has no reliable islandwide fixed fare, so confirm it with your accommodation or driver before arrival. Most visitors reach BOB from Tahiti’s Faa’a airport on Air Tahiti, about 50 minutes; flights can fill, so reserve them early.
