Getting to Hadda — Makkah Province: Flights, Airports & Transfers

King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah: For central Makkah, the Haramain High Speed Railway from the airport station to Makkah is usually the cleanest option: about 55 minutes on the train and roughly SAR 70 one way, then take a taxi/Careem from Makkah station to Hadda. If your Hadda accommodation is well outside central Makkah or you have several bags, a direct licensed taxi or pre-arranged hotel car is often more sensible than making the rail-to-taxi change; allow roughly 1–1.5 hours from JED when traffic is kind, longer around prayer peaks and pilgrimage seasons. Confirm that you are eligible to enter Makkah before travel.

Makkah Haramain High Speed Railway Station: Arrive here from Jeddah airport, Jeddah’s Al-Sulaymaniyah station, Madinah or King Abdullah Economic City, then use a hotel car, licensed taxi or Careem for Hadda. There is no rail or metro connection onward to Hadda; allow roughly 20–45 minutes depending on its exact location and Makkah traffic. Agree on the destination in Arabic/map-pin form rather than relying on the similarly named Al Hada in Taif.

Taif International Airport: Use only if flights or a Taif stay make it worthwhile. A hired car or taxi is required to reach the Makkah/Hadda area; the mountain route makes this a roughly 2–3-hour road transfer in normal conditions, not a quick airport hop. JED is generally the more practical gateway for Makkah.
