You pick a daily rate that reflects your skills, languages, and credentials. Byline shows you market-rate guidance during onboarding so you don't have to guess.
On top of your daily rate, travel concierges receive a stipend that covers travel with the group — flights, ground transfer, lodging where required, and per-diem.
Travelers can tip on every booking. Concierges with 5+ repeat bookings from the same client unlock a repeat-client bonus on each subsequent engagement.
Byline takes a 15% platform fee on each booking. That covers matching, payment processing, certification, ongoing support, and the registration & insurance assistance we provide.
Payouts run weekly on Tuesdays for completed bookings ≥ 48 hours old. Tips and repeat-client bonuses are paid on the same cadence.
